Many multinational corporations, especially computer hardware and software giants, have operations in Bangalore. Bangalore’s IT industry is divided into two main “clusters” — Electronic City and Whitefield. New clusters in Bellandur, Hebbal and Challaghatta have emerged in the last few years along the Outer and Inner Ring Roads and in C V Raman Nagar near Old Madras Road. The City is home to more than 900 IT firms.

Bagmane Tech Park is a software technological park in India. The park is situated at CV Raman Nagar in Bangalore. This park is built and maintained by Bagmane Group. The park shares its boundaries with HAL and DRDO and is near the HAL Airport. It is equipped with all modern class facilities and is surrounded by a lake near the entrance. International Tech Park (commonly called ITPL and ITPB) is a tech park located in Whitefield, Bangalore, 18 km from the city centre. It is managed by Ascendas. It includes the 450,000 square foot Park Square Mall, several sporting arenas and the Vivanta by Taj hotel. It is the oldest tech park of Bengaluru. It is located in Whitefield cluster. It was created as a result of a joint venture between India and Singapore in January 1994. It is a large facility, comprising 9 buildings—Discoverer, Innovator, Creator, Explorer, Inventor, Navigator, Voyager and Aviator plus a building belonging to TCS which is called Pioneer. The tenth building which is under construction will be called “Victor”. This park provides campus facilities for multi national giants like GE, Xerox, iGATE, IBM, Mu Sigma, Airtel, Vodafone, TCS, Unisys, Delphi, Huawei, Oracle, Perot Systems , First American (India) and other medium and small sized companies.

RMZ Ecospace Business Park was one of the first few large projects to come up on Sarjapur Outer Ring Road. This project was designed by DP Architects from Singapore. It was completed in 2006 and provided a Business Park ambience to the Corporate companies. It has 9 blocks with 4 Million square feet of leasable area and sits on an area of over 24 acres. Key occupants of Ecospace include Broadcom, Microland, Bosch, Harman, Freescale, Northern Operating Services, TAS Analytics, Accenture, Syniverse, Symbol, Cadence, Digital Insight & Kerry.

Manyata Embassy Business Park (also called Manyata Tech Park) is a software technology park in Bangalore, Karnataka India. The park is situated in Hebbal on Outer Ring Road, and has a building area of 8.8 million sq. ft. The park is spread over 424 acres (1,84,72,307 sq ft). Manyata Embassy Business Park has a workforce of around 80,000 professionals. Some of the tenant companies of the tech park are AXA Technologies Shared Services, IBM, Larsen & Toubro, Cognizant, Atlas Copco (India) Ltd., Nokia Siemens, Philips, Alcatel-Lucent, Target Corporation, Northern Trust, Nvidia, indegene and Cerner.

Electronics City, usually referred to as Electronic City, is an IT hub in Anekal Taluk, Bangalore. It is one of India’s largest electronic industrial parks, spread over 332 acres (1.3 km²). It consists of three zones called phases – Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. Electronics City was established by Keonics, Karnataka Electronics, a pioneer in information technology infrastructure development. There are approximately 200 IT/ITES companies located in Electronics City.
